This kit is designed to impression a range of BS mortice locks such as the Chubb 114, Union BS, Legge BS and ERA profit locks. It consists of a serious of impressioning keys complete with a comprehensive guide on the impressioning of mortice locks, guidance on how to read the impressions, details of all levers, anti-picks etc. Also included are unique wires (not photographed) which allow the decoding of the Chubb 114 lock without the need to 'break' the curtain and therefore causing no damage at all to the lock.
This kit will not give a full decode to all of the locks and will not open the locks but seeks to give anybody handpicking these locks an invaluable guide to lever groupings, anti-pick location etc. The kit comprises left- and right-handed impressioning keys for Legge, Chubb, Union and ERA Profit locks, a curtain snapper for the Chubb 114, decode wires for the Chubb 114, two colours of plasticine and our nine-page tutorial.
